Evangelist Lauren Robson serves as the Jurisdictional Secretary. She serves as a member of Bishop’s Administrative Staff. The office of the Jurisdictional Secretary is established by and reports directly to the Jurisdictional Bishop.
The duties and responsibilities of the Jurisdictional Secretary includes:
- Maintaining official and detailed records of the Southern California Second Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction’s administrative and ecclesiastical operations. She plays a pivotal role in legal matters as it pertains to the Jurisdiction.
- The official keeper of the Jurisdictional seal and is the cosignatory and/or signatory on all official documents pertaining to the Jurisdiction..
- Oversees the certification and licensing of ministry personnel.
- Administers the credentialing process for those engaged in ministry in the local churches.
- Reviews and approves written communications sent that represent the Jurisdiction..
- Oversees the maintenance of the Jurisdictional Calendar..
- Prepares and submits the Master Roster for national General Assemblies.
- Maintains an accurate database of Jurisdictional credential holders, officers, churches and districts.
- Keeps an archive of historical documents from across the Jurisdiction including books, national and Jurisdictional records, photographs and memorabilia of historical value.
- Oversees Public Relations and the Jurisdictional website content to assure that information is distributed to the Jurisdiction on a timely basis.
- The Jurisdictional Secretary maintains a close working relationship with the Jurisdictional Bishop, the national General Secretary’s office and the national General Assembly.
