Mother Rosemary Clark
Supervisor of Women: Southern California 2nd Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction
Mother Rosemary Clark, a native Californian, was the fourth of six children born to Evangelist Eloise Ferguson-Goulsby and Major Goulsby.
She accepted the call of salvation at the age of fourteen while under the tutelage of her parents, Pastor Noble and First Lady Eloise Williams at Angelic Church of God in Christ, where she served as a choir member and musician.
In 1978 Mother Clark joined Bible Way Church of God in Christ in Los Angeles, California, under the leadership of the late Pastor Curtis (lovingly known as) “Dad” Spears and served as personal secretary to her mentor, District Missionary Sallie Spears; unaware of the work God was preparing her for.
Mother Clark met and married the late Bishop Albert J. Clark, Pastor of Gethsemane Tabernacle, Church of God in Christ in 1988. She served as a Sunday School, Bible Band, and YPWW teacher, pianist, secretary, women’s program coordinator, women’s department president and many other offices as the Lord deemed necessary. She worked faithfully by her husband’s side until God called him home.
Mother Clark served as the Evangelist Department President of the United in Love District and as the Los Angeles Area Regional Missionary. She also served in the Southern California Second Jurisdiction as a District Missionary and Jurisdictional Marshal, beginning her service under the leadership of the late Bishop George D. McKinney and the late Supervisor Gloria Lynch. Mother Clark continues her committed service under the current Prelate, Bishop Charles G. Nauden who in 2022, appointed her Assistant Supervisor of Women. Following the heavenly transition of Mother Lynch in September 2023, Bishop Nauden elevated Mother Clark to the office of Supervisor of Women Designate on February 10, 2024. She was installed as Supervisor in November 2024 at the National Holy Convocation in Memphis, Tennessee.
Mother Clark is called to the work of evangelism and is a revivalist whom God uses through the gift of prophesy and laying hands on the sick. She is a gifted singer and pianist. Mother Clark is a faithful and committed prayer warrior who boldly intercedes on the behalf of the body of Christ. She stands firm on the principles of faith, holiness, obedience, and the power and work of the Holy Ghost.
Mother Clark is the proud mother of a lovely daughter, and grandmother to three beautiful granddaughters. She has been blessed with a host of spiritual children who recognize her motherly wisdom, honesty, patience, and genuine love as ascribed by the Word of God.
She attributes all offices, ministries and gifts to God, and asserts that it’s “an honor and privilege” to be chosen and used by Him.
